ZoomSafer just started and I wasn't driving - what happened?

Congratulations (and sorry too), you just experienced what we call around here a “Phantom” speed spike! The GPS in your device isn’t quite perfect yet and we do lots of things to interpret the speed readings we get from it to make the auto speed detection as quick and accurate as possible. There are a few occasions still where your device might think it’s going 35 m.p.h. and you’re still sitting on the couch watching the evening news!

Please send us a note at support@zoomsafer.com and tell us when these happen. We’re collecting data and constantly tweaking the speed detection algorithm to avoid these situations. But in the meantime, we‘d rather be safe than sorry.
