We understand that using a GPS, speed based trigger isn't for everyone and have developed ZoomSafer with the capability to both activate and deactivate automatically based on the connection status of a specified Bluetooth device.
What does that mean?? If you have a Bluetooth Car Kit, ZoomSafer can automatically activate and deactivate everytime that car kit activates and deactivates - with NO incremental battery drain for you. i added my phone to the bluetooth for my car and i trusted the device. online i put the device in automatic mode and i allowed for on-device configuring. i downloaded the new software and tried to follow the directions in the video that said after the software was installed to launch zoomsafer application on the phone and to choose basic options. when i launched zoomsafer i got a plain white screen with the SUSPEND button in the lower right hand corner. not only was i not able to go into basic options, the phone sort of froze and i could not hit suspend, nor get out of zoomsafer. i had to remove the battery.
how can i get this to work correctly? -

Hi there, thanks for writing in, and sorry the configuration isn't working for you yet.
Here are a couple of thoughts based on your description:
- If you've configured ZoomSafer to allow on device management (that's the default), when you click the ZoomSafer icon once, you should be brought to a screen that allows you to choose "Start ZoomSafer" and "Basic Options". It sounds like that screen wasn't coming up?
- When ZoomSafer is active with the Beta software, you should be able to mouse to the "Suspend" button and use your mouse to enter / choose a suspend time. If you haven't configured ZoomSafer yet to pay attention to a specific Bluetooth device, then selecting a suspend time will effectively deactivate ZoomSafer (definitely should not have to pull the battery).
