safety message goes off when not even in car

safety message sometimes goes off while in house or anywhere outside of car. it has woken me up in middle of night. how can i stop this without turning phone off

    Thanks for writing in and we're very sorry to have had ZoomSafer waking you up in the middle of the night. What you experienced is likely what we call a "phantom activation" - there's a separate post with more detail on this at this link.

    We've worked very hard to eliminate these but sometimes they still occur. We periodically take what we've learned from customers and update our GPS triggering algorithm. If you're interested, I'd love to understand more specifics about when they're occuring to feed that back into ZoomSafer - please drop me a note at mikec@zoomsafer.com and we'll get some questions back to you.
