Resetting of Tour Needed More Frequently
While using the beta program, I needed to reset my Tour weekly. This allows the phone/GPS to activate automatically. Since upgrading to the commercial version I have had to do it every other day. Normal?

Thanks a bunch for getting back to us and the further description. Is the phone powering down and powering up? I think we've solved the problem. We essentially found a bug where the automatic speed detection on v1.0 did not reactivate after a Blackberry is power cycled (starting the app manually did get things back in synch). As of last night, new users now receive V 1.0.1 that has this bug fix in it among a few more minor things.
We will be notifying everyone with V 1.0 that there is a new version available and I will be sending you personally a new download link after I'm done writing this post.
Please remember to delete the current version of ZoomSafer and power down/power up before you install the new version.
Thanks so much for writing back in - please get back to us to tell us how V 1.0.1 is working for you.
Safe Driving,
Mike

I’m
happy to be hearing from David
David - Thanks very much for the heads up. The short answer is no - you shouldn't need to. I will have our developers take a look at it tomorrow and get back to you. Can you get back to me and tell me what your GPS settings are?
Thanks!

From Options>Advanced Options>GPS:
GPS Source: Device GPS
GPS Services: Location On
Location Aiding: Enabled
If this isnt what you need, tell me and I will give you whatever you need.
Thanks,

Just an update. I have had to reset every morning since the installing the commercial version. The program works well all day and into the night. I then plug it into a wall charger. It automatically turns off at 11PM and turns on at 6AM. All of these options were the same before and after the install.

The fix worked! I did not have to reset this morning to have the software recognize that I was moving.
Thanks again. -
